Job Brief
We are looking for compassionate & experienced MSW RSWs to provide trauma treatment and justice system support to individuals, families and communities.
Requirements and skills

MSW RSW qualifications + OCSWSSW registration

EMDR training essential (consultation toward certification provided by the clinical director as well as weekly group supervision); additional qualifications a bonus: attachment-focused therapy, art therapy, IFS, DBT, SSP, poly-vagal theory

Minimum 3 years experience in private practice or 5 years in community practice

Experience and/or passion supporting people on criminal and civil justice journeys (victims of crime, responsibility-taking offenders, families of both) or on family court journeys

Restorative justice knowledge and training a bonus

Indigenous-allied, NIHB qualified preferred

Secondary language(s) preferred

Takes to heart the social worker’s call to advocacy

Experience working with survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking an asset

Or bring your own area of expertise as a trauma therapist

Start on an independent contract and work toward salary+benefits staff position upon reaching a consistent caseload of 20 client hours/week
